Custom Tart Boxes
Partitioned tart packaging starts with the pastry base and topping height.
Explore this packaging →Plan bakery packaging around the actual portion, its support board or wrap, the intended contact and the delivery route. Cake height, tart compartments, cookie protection and chocolate trays need different decisions.

Chocolate gift boxes are planned around the wrapped piece, cavity count and tray.
Explore this packaging →A single bakery may need quick counter-service cartons, decorated cake boxes and gift assortments. These formats can share artwork without sharing one material or one protection system. Specify every inner wrap, divider and tray separately so the outer printed carton is not mistaken for a freshness barrier or shipping solution.
| Format | Typical project | Decision to review |
|---|---|---|
| Cake and tart boxes | Decorated portions and supported bases | Board footprint, topping clearance and loading access. |
| Cookie gift packaging | Single recipe or mixed assortments | Wrapped dimensions, dividers and outer shipping protection. |
| Chocolate gift boxes | Cavity-based presentation | Tray composition, removal space and temperature-sensitive delivery. |
A bakery range can combine quick-service cake cartons, gift-ready cookie assortments and insert-based chocolate boxes while retaining a shared graphic identity.
Measure the cake board or tray as well as the dessert. Include the tallest decoration, wrapper and removal clearance. For assortments, list each portion and its orientation so that dividers do not crush toppings or leave fragile pieces free to move.
Identify which parts touch the food: liner, cup, tray, wrap or carton. Select the relevant material and request destination-appropriate supporting documents for that component. A decorative printed outer box should not be treated as evidence of food-contact suitability.
Flat-packed cartons can reduce storage but require folding and loading labor. Trial the construction during a realistic service period. Check whether the dessert can be placed into the box without touching delicate sides and whether the closed pack is practical to stack or carry.
Hand-carried presentation and courier delivery are different tasks. For shipping, specify movement control, cushioning and the outer carton. Temperature-sensitive chocolate and fresh desserts need a separate handling plan; the gift box does not establish temperature control or shelf life.
Matching only the cake diameter can miss the wider board and taller decoration. Check the finished product in the intended storage and delivery conditions.
Provide the packed product dimensions, weight and quantity per design
Confirm the construction, component list, artwork scope and delivery assumptions. Resolve any differences before comparing quotations.
Include the base, wrapper and tallest decoration in measurements. Record the approved revision and remaining changes.
Keep material references, inspection points, packing format and the arrival plan together with the written approval.
The outer decorative box does not establish a shelf life. The food, inner packaging, storage and transport conditions need separate validation by the responsible business.
The delivery format depends on the proposed construction. Confirm the packing arrangement and assembly steps in the quotation.
For parcel routes, review a complete transit pack with movement control and a suitable outer carton. Counter presentation alone is not transport validation.
Send dimensions, quantity and destination for a specification review. For artwork or image references, email Jennifer directly.
